After breakfast, your guide/ driver will wait for you at your hotel’s reception desk to drive you to high plain on the west side of the island.

Departure for Casela, amazing Animal Park. You will be able to see different kinds of birds (peacock, ostrich…), part of the 1500 fowls present in the park. But you can also see other animals such as turtles, wallabies, monkeys.

After this non usual visit, you will go trough the village of Tamarin and Black River and will see the “Salines” (salt production).

This drive will lead you to the Black River’s gorges, a natural reserve, from where different hiking start.

You will then reach Chamarel, a place where you can see the waterfall, visit the Rum distillery and the Seven colors ground.

After lunch, you will continue to lake Grand Bassin, a sacred place for Hindus. Your visit will end on the road of Plaine Champagne from where there is a view on Alexandra’s waterfall.
